Travelling Solo in Morocco with a Group

Thinking about travelling solo in Morocco but cannot find anyone to go with? Would you love to discover new places and meet people, but the idea of travelling completely alone holds you back? You do not need a travel companion for a great adventure. You can come on your own and explore Morocco with a group of travellers who share your curiosity.

Travel solo, without being alone

Our tours are designed for people who want to visit Morocco but prefer to do it in a group. You do not need to come with a partner, friends or a group you organise yourself. You book your own place and start the trip with people you may not know yet, but with whom you will share the road, meals, laughs and memories. Very often, the trip starts as an adventure and ends with new friendships.

Why travel in a group in Morocco?

  • Meet new people and make new friends.
  • Explore the Merzouga desert and the Erg Chebbi dunes.
  • Ride a camel at sunset and watch the sunrise over the dunes.
  • Discover kasbahs and traditional villages, such as Aït Ben Haddou.
  • Cross the Atlas mountains and the Dades and Todra valleys.
  • Share meals and moments with other travellers.
  • Let us handle transport, accommodation and the desert camp.

You do not need to know anyone before you go

One of the biggest worries about a group trip is arriving without knowing anyone. Yet that is one of the best parts: everyone starts as a stranger. Along the route there are plenty of moments to talk, share experiences and find things in common. You may arrive in Morocco knowing no one and leave with friends you want to travel with again.

How our shared tours work

You choose a route and a date, book your place and pay nothing online; then you confirm it with a 50 € deposit via PayPal. You travel in a shared vehicle with the rest of the group, and you choose a standard or luxury camp for your night in the dunes. Tours leave from Marrakech (3 to 6 days) and from Fes (2 and 3 days), and there are routes between Marrakech and Fes via the desert.

Is it your first time travelling alone?

It does not matter whether you travel often or this is your first solo trip. What matters is wanting to discover Morocco and share the adventure. If you are a woman travelling alone, read our tips for solo female travel in Morocco; for prices and routes, see our guide to group tours in Morocco or compare all our shared desert tours.

You come alone, the group is waiting

No need to wait for your friends’ holidays, or to give up on Morocco because you have no one to go with. You can come alone. We make sure you become part of a group.
