At Desconecta2Viajes we respect your privacy. In this privacy policy we explain what personal data we collect through desconecta2viajes.es, what we use it for and what rights you have, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on Data Protection (LOPDGDD).

What data we collect and why
- Contact form: name, email, phone, trip of interest, dates and message, to answer your enquiry and prepare a quote.
- Bookings: the traveller details you give us when booking, to manage the trip, accommodation and transport.
- Payments: the deposit is paid through PayPal. We do not see or store your card details.
- WhatsApp: if you message us on WhatsApp, we use your number and messages only to deal with your enquiry.
Legal basis
We process your data with your consent, when you write to us or accept this policy in the form, and because it is necessary to prepare and perform the travel contract when you make a booking.
How long we keep your data
We keep enquiries for as long as needed to reply and for a maximum of 1 year if you do not book. Booking data is kept for the periods required by law, for example for tax purposes.
Who we share your data with
We do not sell your data. We only share it when necessary to provide the service:
- Travel suppliers (transport, accommodation and camps) in Morocco, to organise your route.
- PayPal, to process the payment.
- Hostinger, our web hosting company.
- Google (Gmail and Google Site Kit), WhatsApp (Meta) and Jetpack (Automattic), which we use for communication and website statistics.
Some of these suppliers and the travel services are outside the European Economic Area, in Morocco or the United States. In those cases, the transfer is based on it being necessary to perform your travel contract or on the safeguards offered by those suppliers, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You can request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, object to or restrict its use, or request its portability by writing to desconecta2viajes@gmail.com or through our contact page. If you feel we have not handled your request properly, you can file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
